Where can i park? |
We have a lot of parking lots but the best place to pack is “in back” off Junius or Worth Streets. If using GPS, enter 4126 Junius Street as the address. Our main entrance in under the green awning with the “Welcome” banner. Through those doors you will find someone to help you navigate the building if needed and direct access to our elevator.
How do I find my way around EDCC?
Our historic building has many levels and turns. The sanctuary where we worship can be found by entering the Welcome Door and going up the stairs to the green carpet. The sanctuary door is about halfway down the hallway to the right. Sunday School classes are most easily found by asking the greeter where to go.
What should I wear?
Come as you are! Some of our community wear their “Sunday Best” while others come in khakis and a polo, while still others come in jeans and sneakers. God loves what’s on the inside and so do we!
What is worship like?
We have one worship service at 10:30 am. Worship includes prayer, scripture, children’s sermon, sermon, communion, and music and typically last about an hour. We take communion every week and believe that communion is open to everyone. Worship is also available on Zoom and YouTube.

What about children?
EDCC loves children and we have a variety of options. During the Sunday School hour (9:30-10:20), we have three different Sunday School options for children and youth of all ages.* Our Nursery provides a fun activity based lesson for children not yet in school. Our children’s class is for K-5th graders and our youth class is for is for 6th-12th graders. A greeter can help you find your way to the right classroom.
During worship, children are invited to stay for the whole worship service. We have worship activity boxes near the entrance to the sanctuary. Children’s Church is available for 4-year-olds to 3rd graders following the Children’s Church is a special time where the children go with two adults to hear a special story and have a snack. They return to their parents before communion. We do not have Children’s Church on the first Sunday of the month nor during the summer.
Our nursery is available all morning for 4-year-olds and younger. Our nursery attendants are on staff and background checked. All volunteers are background checked every two years.
*Please note that our Children and Youth Sunday Schools go on hiatus during the summer.
