“Youth Exploring Scripture”
Sunday Mornings
A group for Junior & Senior High—
At 9:30am, our youth will be encouraged to attend “The Table” worship service, following “The Table” the youth will join the beginning of the 10:50 service for further fellowship and worship. About 11:00am (after Children’s Moment), they will have an opportunity to meet together to study and discuss the scripture & sermon topic from worship.
Starting in September, we will have two sessions of discussion— 9:30am and 11:00am. This will give the youth the opportunity to participate in many worship experiences.
What do I need to bring for YES!? This will be an opportunity to dive into scripture, so bring your bible. Bring a bible you would not mind marking in, as we will be circling and underlining key words and phrases in the text.
What do I need to know for YES!? We will be growing together in our understanding of scripture so just bring yourself and what you know right now.
Who will be teaching YES!?
Another part of this creative approach to Christian Education is to allow the youth to grow in relationship with mentors and teachers in the church. The teachers/facilitators will be members of EDCC on a rotating schedule.
