East Dallas Christian Church is a congregation of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) serving in the heart of historic East Dallas since 1903. We are called together in worship, about the Table of our Lord, where we are received in love and grace. There we celebrate both our common faith and our diversity as children of God.
In response to God’s claim on our lives, we go forth to do God’s work:
– Sharing the Good News and seeking to bring others to worship God in Christ
– Caring for those in need
– Teaching God’s word
– Providing hospitality through our facilities as a ministry to our congregation and our community
– Working toward the unity and wholeness of the Church and the human family
– Growing in our stewardship of all the gifts of God
