A Choral Festival with Guest Composer Morten Lauridsen


EDCC Chancel Choir  will host Texas Wesleyan Chamber Choir in this extraordinary event. A Chamber Orchestra and Organist, Michael Plantz will accompany the “Lux Aeterna”  and other Lauridsen choral selections. The festival will be held on Saturday culminating with the Sunday afternoon concert.

EDCC member and Chancel Choir section leader presents, with her daughter Becca, a Classical and Sacred Recital. With her powerful and stirring voice, the New York Metropolitan Opera Company has contracted her for three seasons to understudy the role of a Valkury in Wagner’s Die Valküre.
