of fellowship opportunities where you and fellow members
can get to know each other better through your work
on common goals. We hope you will take advantage of
this opportunity to become part of our active community.
This is a wonderful way to make friends and add meaning
to your EDCC experience.
DISCIPLE’S WOMEN
This group provides a channel by which all women members
may be joined in fellowship. Together, through prayer,
study and service, our members are able to share the
gospel with our neighbors, our friends and our community.
CHRISTIAN MEN’S
FELLOWSHIP (CMF)
This men’s group is dedicated to addressing the
needs of those who are less fortunate. One example of
their good work can be seen at Christmas. As the holiday
approaches each year, the CMF begins filling boxes with
new and gently used clothes, toys and food to be distributed
to the needy at the Southwest Good Samaritan Ministries
in Los Fresnos, Texas. The CMF contribution helps the
ministries in Los Fresnos fulfill their mission to support
abandoned children and families forced out of their
homeland to a new country.
SUNDAY LUNCH
BUNCH
This is a fun fellowship meal offered every Sunday
(except the last Sunday of the month) in the Great Hall
of East Dallas Christian Church. The price is right:
- Adults — $5.00
- Children under 12 — $3.50
- First time visitors — FREE
In addition, special holiday family dinners are held
throughout the year. Please join us as our guest for
your first Sunday Lunch Brunch!
SUNDAY COFFEE FELLOWSHIP
This coffee social time is always the first Sunday
of the month at 9:15 a.m. in the Great Hall. Please
join us for a cup of java and fellowship.
ADULT CHOIR
Our choir is open to anyone who loves to sing. Practices
are held on Sunday mornings at 10:10 a.m. and immediately
following the 10:50 a.m. worship service. This is a
great way to share the joy of music
together.
WEDNESDAY MORNING
BIBLE STUDY
This Bible Study group meets every Wednesday morning
at 10:30 am in the Disciples Room. Deborah Morgan, our
Senior Minister, leads a lively discussion and study
of one particular book of the Bible each week.
YOUTH GROUPS
Our Youth Groups encompass children from the fourth
grade through high school. The groups meet bimonthly
on Sunday for activities and fellowship together in
their various
age groups. Our high school and junior high groups
have the opportunity to go on an annual mission trip. |
